On September 18, 2026, the study day “Innovations technologiques, nouvelles pratiques savantes, diplomatie intellectuelle et politique”, organized by Maria Teresa Schettino and Cesare Zizza, will take place in Strasbourg.

The initiative offers a reflection on the intersection of history, diplomatic practices, political philosophy, Classics/Ancient Studies, and new information technologies, aiming to foster dialogue across diverse fields of research and explore the evolution of scholarly practices and approaches to knowledge.

The program includes a series of panel discussions and exchange sessions dedicated to the relationship between technological innovation, the interpretation of ancient texts, and the transformation of scientific practices.

The event will be held in the Salle Océanie at MISHA – Maison Interuniversitaire des Sciences de l’Homme – Alsace, in Strasbourg, featuring scholars from various academic institutions.
